I‘m Tamira or Tammy, either works for me!
Definition of Lonepalmcreates:
Lone: One being me, Tammy. But that’s not entirely true as there are two - another T, Tim my hubby, partner and soulmate. He is a super important part of this - he is the prep guy, the finish guy and my all around rock!
He is creating himself these days, so stay tuned for that!
Palm: Tammy (a diminutive of Tamara/Tamira) means palm tree!
Creates: Yes creating is what we do!
I am a self-taught artist with a passion for creating unique and inspiring pieces specializing but not limited to ocean themes.
I have always been creative using various mediums. Painting, drawing and sculpting to name a few.
In 2020 during the height of the pandemic I was introduced to the magical world of resin!
From that point on I plunged into every avenue this wonderful new medium would take me.
Today I continue to experiment and learn everything I can so I can continue to grow as an artist to be able keep making beautiful functional art for YOU❤️

Style
My work is heavily influenced by my travel particularly beach destinations.
I bring home many ideas from color variations of the waters to unique types of terrain. Then I transfer these ideas to my artwork.
My goal is to create the most realistic nature scenes possible.
Process/how I created a Bioluminescent beach
I am a firm believer in the power of experimentation and play in the artistic process. I often incorporate unconventional materials and techniques into my work, which allows me to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of my craft.
